I'm happy with either to be honest. While I have a few peoples attention...... If we have a competition next year, would you prefer a spring tide or a neap tide?
Hi Mart, had a quick look at Gnsy 2018 tides...looks like only two August weekends offer low tides around mid day ish...the big spring tides on 12th or slightly smaller spring tides on 26th...I prefer moderate springs but I will dive anythingI have to consider the low tide times as well as the size, low tide at 3pm means the comp would not finish until 5 or 6pm & that makes things a bit anti social for the evenings.
Low tide at mid day is ideal in that respect but spring tides tend to be later...
I would rather have input from you guys than make all the decision.... I will study the tides & offer a few options.
How big was the turbo?I'd say neap tides offer a bit more stability, plus fish seem to stay around longer in the shallows. Saw my 1st turbot at Grand Rocque. Super happy about it!!
Was the size of a champagne try? Loving the new gun. Got my 1st trigger, was a long shot. How big was the turbo?
The Friday and Saturday would be good? The 11 - 12tth of August 2018 offer huge tides! http://tides.digimap.gg/?year=2018&yearDay=223&reqDepth=130
