It was very tasty. Much better than Amberjack. Close to the taste of Atlantic bonito, but more delicate flavour.
I tried it both BBQed and fried. It was good both ways. I'm sorry I wasn't into sushi back then, otherwise I would have eaten most of it raw :friday. I suppose it would be perfect for sushi/sashimi.

Jimmy's mullet's a fine looking fish. I've just enjoyed Thai style fishcakes made from mullet so I'll say the mullet or one of Spearo Dave's pollacks.

Yes, fantastic response. Hall of Fame is full of really nice catches and more are arriving every day. Phew :hmm. Just added 2 big lobsters by Daveocallaghan and then there was Janners ray, Shiny 1's sole etc.
