So I am very new to SPEARfishing and I am on a trip to Portugal and have only gone out a few times .keep in mind I am 13 and I went to a spot a local digested but at the time the waves where not very low and I was having problems loading the speargun without moving all around. If anyone has any suggestions let me know

If you're in waves, then my suggestion is to get out of the waves into calmer waters, then load your gun. You can also just dive down, then load your gun, but having a loaded gun in waves is not really a safe practice.
