Look forward to your advice.

Everyone is a little different. Contractions can feel different in different situations. For me empty lung contractions on land are unbearable. Full lung contractions on land are usually unpleasant but manageable, but occasionally I will have a day they really don't bother me at all. I almost never get contractions underwater at depth and when I do they don't bother me at all.
Contractions and blacking out are not directly related. I've gotten hypoxic symptoms as early as 3 min and as late as 6 min. I've never pushed it to LMC or blackout.
