Jaysus you go away for a few days warm water training and everyone turns into bloody Care Bears judging from the lack of fish I don't think i missed much. My new fins mask and snorkel arrived just in time before I left working a treat set some new p.b depths and bottom times 30m plus vis kinda helps I think though dunno when I'm gonna get the chance to try them here looks pants for a while!!:hmm

Amazing how deep you can go and how relaxed you get in clear warm water.
Only saw 25m viz once this year on a 40m dive. Rare enough but wrecks look totally different when u can see the whole thing. It's those days I look forward to......

Decided I had enough of bad weather and headed west for a look. Surprisingly flat calm. Picked 12 shells and released 1 for Poseidon for good luck. Vis was 2m. Deepest dive 16m. Temp12c.

i just took out a last bag of scallops from my freezer.....

Didn't bring the gun. Saw 2 wrass and 1 pollock. This spot usually has no fish.

Likewise, I doubt we'll get any good weather soon... My freezer is bassless and I haven't caught one in months...
Shellfish season is open... Picked my first few mussels of the season on sat...scallops are next on the agenda once the silt settles a bit west. Might get one big haul and then start trying a few new spots...

EDIT@ I actually have those plates too btw and is that the correct water temp? Should be much hotter this time of year right?

Dunno wats goin on. Didn't see anything above 14 this year. I've seen 16 on good years. Think your right about the lack of sun too.
Anyway. Winter is coming. Snow next month too apparently.......
