That's mental. I was around the corner from Castletown and it was 5 degrees less!! Jaysus. I'm certain my computer is right as I've cross checked it with others. Used the vytec as my mosquito is a pile of dog shit.
There is also a 5 degree difference between ballycotton and Castletown.
Maybe the fact there is very slow currents might explain it. It seems to be out of the main "warm" stream.

A lot depends on the buoys and their location... those charts are not meant to be a direct corelation between buoys, but rather as a means to identify variation within a certain set of readings from one buoy... then that vartiation will be compared to variation at the other buoys...
The variationis compared not the actual reading... I wouldnt pay much attention. I've dived west and its been colder, certainly here in east its been hotter.
Overall I think things are similiar if not slightly colder this year, but not by much.

We did a half day in Egypt on the instructor course with Pellizari and I liked it and thought it was beneficial. we will see this weekend what difference it makes to students for static.Cheers for the link on the boards

Telling ya man.... starting the 3rd there are easterlies for a few days... perfect is you know a head pointing due south with bass on the west side
