The reason they said they would land the bass in France was, apparently French boats that catch Bass in Irish waters can land them at home with impunity as we cannot impose our regulations on another country. The Irish fishermen have to throw any Bass they catch back overboard more than likely dead. It's a quagmire of legality and nonsense why can't we stop French boats fishing for Bass in Irish waters:confused:.
