How very observant! Might pop out for scallops soon actually. Got only half dozen left. Dunno if I should wait for signs of bass and kill two birds with one stone.
Was on a bubble dive recently and saw some great lobster in a "bassy" area so I'd like to give that a go too, kill two birds with one stone again. Would like to try some different spots this year and leave our other spots to rejuvenate.

Not been out diving since last October Johnny but in the water once or twice a week and it's still very cold with no viz.
Hopefully should start to warm and clear up next month.

Have only one or two pieces of fish in the freezer and don'twant to resort to the supermarket.

Hi lads this is the message which I got from Pavol regarding our course,if you are interested please let me now by Wensday;
Hi Vasile, so just to summarize everything , we are booked room for theory on saturday from 9am-6pm ( room hire is free, there is projector) There is lunch break at 1pm people can have lunch in cafe in hotel on their own account. If anyone wants to stay in hotel I have 10 rooms on hold for us price is €65 per person included breakfast so if there is 2 people in room it will cost €130, otherwise hotel is full ( its midterm break so hotel will be busy, also normally you cannot book for only 1 night) please let me know how many rooms and what type ( twin, double, triple, family etc.) you need asap. There are other means of accommodation around galway, maybe cheaper, people can find out themselves. We can use pool for static I can find out what time would be best, so there isn't too many people around. Let me know if you need more info. Pavol

Just arrived from a wk in Galway area. Saw 7 spider crabs and got 4 nice ones. Scallops are also there :) Looks great for next wk! Visibility in the margin around 2 to 3 meters and of coast about 6 meters to 8.
