Hi everyone
A few thoughts I had about our meeting next weekend:
Unless we have a kind, non-diving volunteer with good biceps, we are going to have to manage the rope and timings between ourselves. Laura and I have been looking at the depths / numbers, and we reckon it should all work OK, as long as:
a) The shallower divers don’t mind incorporating safety dives for the deeper divers ( who go first ), as part of their own warm up, and
b) Everyone who has booked a place turns up.
The deeper and mid-range depths can be split into just two levels, so that means that the rope can be pulled up by the deeper divers as soon as they finish their own dives.
Don’t forget there is a 5 minute gap between each dive, so with 8 people, everyone should be able to get a reasonable preparation period.
Laura has pulled together a 5 person Scuba support team, so it would be really appreciated that if anyone can’t make it for any reason, they give us at least 48 hours notice.
With the recent cold weather and lack of rainfall, I’m expecting the visibility to be reasonable – anyone who has an underwater camera might want to consider bringing it. I’m intending on bringing mine, and if I get any decent shots I’ll upload them onto flickr.
The pool will be open in 6 days….

just got back from Egypt and going to Poland on Thursday so apologies, I won't be there.
however the following weekend me, Dave and Simon have a date with the cold lake and a lot of orange rope...... new drysuit and new scuba wetsuit waiting for me when I got home

Excellent, so we are on for Saturday..... What time are we all meeting at Chepstow?
Looking forward to it ! This will be my first meet with the Angels ! (so I won't really know what I'm doing !! HELP !)

Relax sweet mermaid ... nothing for you to do but splash around in that gorgeous emerald water and dive when the man who can says 'official top'.

Mr Fish is a student again and working hard! I will have a life again soon... And I may have the freedive support vessel from hell too! Keep up the good work and keep training for next time we meet, so you dont get left 6 or 7 rounds behind with 10 min till closing time :friday
