..but I'm a newbie and I just can't figure something out, not even after searching the forum for hours - there are a lot of threads about techniques to equalize the middle ear. And there are many threads (mostly on masks) where ppl _mention_ equalizing the mask. However, I can't find a thread which is actually about mask equalization.. So how should it be done? or is it the same thing as equalizing the middle ear? I'm pretty confused.. :duh

is that all? and will I not blow away the mask this way, letting the water to enter?

yeah, just do it gently, like small sniffs but in reverse. Most people do it without thinking. If you surface looking like your mascara has run, you forgot.

And don't worry about asking anything. There are no stupid questions.
