..but I'm a newbie and I just can't figure something out, not even after searching the forum for hours - there are a lot of threads about techniques to equalize the middle ear. And there are many threads (mostly on masks) where ppl _mention_ equalizing the mask. However, I can't find a thread which is actually about mask equalization.. So how should it be done? or is it the same thing as equalizing the middle ear? I'm pretty confused.. :duh
 
yeah, just do it gently, like small sniffs but in reverse. Most people do it without thinking. If you surface looking like your mascara has run, you forgot.
