Wednesday 7/4/2018 (short rubber fins)

Warmup 400m w/2dnfs per end
9*25u with 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3 breaths in between (225u)
10*25u/25f(5) (500/250u)
5*50u departing every 3:00 (each was ~1:15 so rest 1:45) (250u)
1*25ufufufuf dnf, 5 breaths at the wall (200/100u)
400f in 8:00

Total - 1975/825u

Tough day, didn't recover from the sprints + gym on Sunday. I will stop gym work for the rest of the season and do 1x swimming/week only, the rest DYN/DNF.

If I didn't need to get up to pee I could have easily done 3x 4:00. But I had coffee shortly before this. Next time I will go for 4:20.

When you say "all rests 2:00" - do you mean 2 min rest followed by breathe up? Or do you literally end one static and start the next 2 mins later?

I end one static and I start the next one after 2:00 (no separate period for breathe-up). I am using the Static Apnea trainer app by Aled Thomas supplemented by my wrist watch in case I want to do additional 4:00 holds at the end.
 
That sounds tough. I see you are making good progress in your statics. Congrats!

Total - 1300/900u

Didn't realize how hard it would be to go back up the ladder in the first exercise

Stopped there. I have sinus congestion and I don't want to damage my sinuses.

trail run/walk ~5.2 miles

Been doing this about once a week for the past few months but I haven't been logging it since it is low intensity. Today I really pushed it though. Head was pounding from sinus congestion.

First workout back after my really bad sinus infection. Still some pressure in the left side of my face but it doesn't seem to be impacted much by depth. Only surface swimming for now.
