If Bill puts his name behind it you have to know its top notch goods.

I have never tried his maker of suits, so i went the budget variety and have a Spiros made Diveskin suit. 220$ and its held up for a year of shore diving and is still in perfect shape.

I bought my "little" brother a diveskin custom suit last year because he is also 65 and 250lbs and it fits him like a glove.

PS... if you want to dive soon we should be heading out this weekend a lot seeing as its full moon and the conditions are gonna be sunny and calm. Send me a pm.

there you go Mates......another satisfied customer from Spiros. I'll send you the pics tonight when I get a chance. Gonna head out this weekend and Mike is right when he says conditions should be good with the high tides and moon activity. Shoud be almost identical conditions as the last Cabezon I sent you. Usually these conditions are good for finding butts, shallow sandies, and cabbies (in the right spots of course). Let me know when you are geared up. Aloha a hui hou

Oh yeah......ScienceMike, beautiful butt you landed @ the Cove several weeks back........way to go!!!

you know what guys if conditions are going to be this good im down to do a shore dive off of laguna or something and ill just wear what i have and have to deal with the temp. i also heard from some people that the air temp is gonna be some where in the range of 80's? so i think im gonna take it easy this weekend with the partying and go diving on sunday. what is a good time to go out. keep in mind ill be driving from pomona (school) and ill have to stop by my parents place in costa mesa to grab all my gear. let me know and im down for a dive sunday.

Mates.......I get up at 6am to be in the water by 7am when the sun comes up. One good thing about getting up early is that it gives me the opportunity to check conditions at the Cove before the parking guys get there and you can usually run into some early morning creatures that you sometimes might not find in the daytime. Why don't you eliminate the rush for time by picking up your stuff before the weekend? That way when the weekend comes, you are good to go. Pomona to Costa Mesa shouldn't take more than an hour out of the day each way. Either way, let me know how it goes.

have any of you guys heard of a brand named Marea and the quality of their suits? i would want a suit along these lines.

Marea Made To Measure - Birol Altinel - Turkey 2007

knee, elbow, and chest pads but they are lagging on giving me a quote.

i know oceanos can give me a suit like that one for around $200 i was on their site earlier and i found the one i want in their pics but i couldnt find where to select green abstract camo instead of blue abstract camo.

you gotta tell Spiros when you order what color you want. His site is kinda tricky. You first oder the suit then when you submit the custom measurements, this is where you specify color, specs, pads, etc. Good luck Mates.

Hey Matt.....missed you over the weekend man. Viz was 30'-40' EASY and probably the most fish I've ever seen on the Cali coast. Got a nice 4.75# (24") Sandy on Saturday, with a 2# late season Corbina (22.5") and a 1.5# Cabezon (15"). There were plenty of mackerel feeding everywhere and lots of sea lions and schools of dolphins feeding on the mackerel. All in all, the whole weekend was just crazy hot and no wind to mess things up. You get your stuff yet? Hit me up when you get time.

A hui hou,
Kanakafari
