Nice prawns Foxy! How many pots do you put out for a haul like that? I fancy picking up a few pots for next year...

Hi Dafydd,
one or two pots will give you that. good excuse to catch a stinky as they seem to love it - you do have to put it in overnight though, which is a bit of a pain although they fill quickly if you are out for the evening. happy to help set and retrieve by dinghy if need be. funny, they seem to really be on the increase, last year only had a few, this year have had up to a kilo in a pot....crazy!

Amazing day at the Lleyn, almost felt to be in the med. Flat sea and great vis. Totally bass-less but luckily pollock heaven still productive.

Just dived off Anglesey, lovely morning and great vis. Unfortunately no bass.

Just contemplating my next move...

Second dive, great vis lots to see. Played peekaboo with a friendly seal. Missed two big bass and saw a couple more biggies. Managed to get one just legal but defo bass around. Tried in vain to get a good lobby out of its hole.

So I've not been out much lately due to work. Got in the water at the weekend and saw plenty of bass at one mark, a shoal of maybe 50+, mostly 3lb+. Landed this 5 1/2lb beauty for dinner.

I've also been testing out my new purchases of an Epsealon suit, carbon fins and 100cm gun as well as a dive watch for the last dozen or so dives. Over all pretty chuffed with the performance and their looking like a wise investment.
