Some great reports coming in from you boys shame there is so little fish being had .I will be looking for lobster and crab more and scallopes ,soon .going to get a big pollock at weekend if I make it down.feel some night dives coming off as its getting dark 8ish now look out you little prawns !,there about the only the I can get!LOL.Foxy are you around sat?

I agree maybe some night dives will turn up the goods. It looked so fishy last night - can't believe we didn't see any silver. Forecast looking dubious for next week, a bit of swell about...

Fu#?in safety was on.

Unlucky dude! I know for some people there is a mental barrier to overcome when it comes to swimming around with a loaded gun without the safety on. If it makes it any easier, knowing you would act in exactly the same manner whether you had the safety on or not, might make you realise at the end of the day, the only safe gun is an unloaded gun.

Not impressed Dario! Will only be in awe when I see a double figure bass, double figure pollock AND a double figure gentleman's bass taken from a trip to Jersey on your boat at the same time!;)

Dafydd, very true words on the safety catch, I use firearms as part of my profession and would consider safety catches as a complete misnomer.

Just got a new mask a techisub micromask (Aqua lung) in black as my clear one appears to look white when in the water ! Keep the other as spare ,they fit me very well .hope it helps with seeing things in dark murky Welsh water cutting out the surrounding light .and the fish seeing me! I think just popping your head above the water looking around in day light losses your night vision for them few vital minutes .will find out tomorrow hopefully.

It's a fantastic mask denan! Really comfortable and a nice low volume! A dark skirt makes a huge difference to your vision as you don't pickup a reflection off the inside of your mask especially when fishing in bright light! No doubt you will see a huge benefit to your vision!

Had a paddle this eve. decent vis north side. a few fish seen inc monster stinkies. (left them) :). wind getting up now from south......

Calm on south at mo light breeze from west sea is flat but strange swell coming in very milky 1m + I would think north side later I think

Not to good wouldn't bother unless you have boat and are sadistic (Dario)!surfs up tho!

A short clip of the other day , notive the two bass fleeting into view just on the edge of viz , I took an ambitious shot and fell short . Footage is pretty bad as I forgot to put the minus green filter in camera and the angle of the camera on my head point was too high.
Vid not working , will try again later

Viz was ok to good on south last night and I didn't bother going in ahhhhh! Looked ok this morn worth a try if your there if you don't go you don't know! Foxy Dyllan and I put some prawn pots in over night and pulled the earlier this morn wind was up and sea was very choppy think we most have 100-120 prawns between us .think Dyllan cracked it with big stinky bait looking at his full pot to mine with hand full of prawns and two in one pot!some cracker 4" beasts.LOL

Had a meeting near Conwy today so had hoped to get in for a dive. A scout around the North / east side of Anglesey gave some shelter from the wind and swell but the water was a churned up with poor vis. So South side of llyn best bet at the mo.

viz like the caribbean yesterday eve and same this morning. waiting for low later. lots going on, loads of flatties for some reason. few big stinkies, no bass seen but was only sightseeing really. try harder later this afternoon. grabbed a big lobby and missed another one. left the prawn pots out this week..... mistake.... carnage. rebated and put in last night, so nice few prawns too.
