Good day, I'm planning a trip Friday. Did you see take the bass on Anglesey or llyn?

Wow - what happened to the viz on the South Coast? Not what I was expecting!

After all these glowing reports, I thought I'd go down tomorrow - I like a bit of murky water but that's a bit much!

Any one near north side of llyn today or tomorrow let us know what its like ta!

Yeah, I saw that yesterday and was surprised, given how calm the weather is, it's no better today.

I won't be heading over this weekend.

Where are the pictures with your nice shiny new suit? :)

I was in today - albeit very, very briefly.

I jumped in somewhere in Aberdaron direction, water in the shallows was shocking - like 30cm viz shocking - I swam further and further out into deeper water - about 150 - 200m off shore, about 5 meters deep, which seemed quite far for a solo shore dive and suddenly 3m - 4m of viz opened up - lovely. It was still cloudy but more than fishable, although I kept swimming into patches where the viz dropped back to nothing.

I had a mooch round Abersoch this afternoon - not diving - the water is very cloudy in the shallows - un-fishable cloudy. There were hundreds of big jellys washed up on the high tide line so there obviously been some good swell.

I think if you're fishing tomorrow - anywhere on the South Coast offshore will be fine but if you're planning on having a float in the shallows, you'll struggle.

Will, I think you'll have a great time on Sunday - the conditions, weather wise were perfect so I think the viz will be great for you.

Cheers Mike , yes il have the boat out so should be able to get into the clearer water, plus the tides are dropping a bit now so that should help.

I'm hoping to head down to Anglesey later tomorrow afternoon I might even do a night dive later on, is anybody else around?
