Great day weather wise down the Llyn when I left early this morn sea was flat but still a milky colour.think it's going to need a few calm days .its the Nefyn show to day (bank hol mon) and the north wales boat show at phwhelli next weekend , could be worth a look .just looked up boat show tickets £8.50-£10 day or £24 for w/e !! fri/sat/sun

Looks good. I'm hoping to get down later in the week next week. Looking at the rod fishing sites there is definitely a few bass about, despite the low sea temps. South might just be fishable, new homemade gun to try.

Was hoping for it to look better on north side I'm still going to have a look down bottom end some where even if it's for spiders! And a swim

Good chance to try your new 90HP fins Ian. [emoji12] I will give it a try tomorrow. Finger crossed there will be 1-2m vis.

Viz was crap 1-2m on south low water the water was clear bit full of bits of weed the wind has turned 180 0/0 so a little chop n low weedy viz made me feel ill ! tons of bait fish ,small trout ,spiders ,scallops ,jellies n hermit crabs .pole spear was hard work seemed to be heavy and tiering on hands . Prob a lot better on high to night after midnight if wind stays light..5kg ankle weights I have Neil to balance out the polo sub buoyancy ! Dario what did you get to day?ive seen no silver to talk of!!

Only saw 4 bass all day and one shoal of mullets, the bass a larger pair at distance but very spooky and two schoolies which would not stay in range but they are coming in, got 4 very large male spider and one brown crab so not a waste of time, agree with Ian though quite milky the vis and large amounts of jellyfish babies but great to get back in.

Great May conditions yesterday. Good vis but still quite cold water. Managed a couple of bass and a good conger. I was observing some holes since last year waiting for a good one inhabiting it and yesterday was the day. Saw a couple of big Pollocks but they were not extremely friendly and quite spooky. Crabs all over the place so collected some for some crab cake action.

Looks like it's going to get worse again so good timing.
