It looks like it is going to be a decent bank holiday weekend! I have ordered a camera so if I get it in time I will start some video shooting. 
Not too bad. Slightly light on the nose. But it isnt too bad. Might weight it down a little bit.
just arrive on the llyn phwllie after drive from poole via chester.sea flat north side looks good bright n sunny at mo.light south easterlys i think hardly anything .warm n calm bit of hazey fog to south.any ideas anyone ?where shall i hit 1 st this eve?
Trefors great ....if you hunting scubbies !or crabing with little ones .just got back from middle north side rains coming in now tho it was dry on north but heavy showers in middle of llyn.got one small bass couldnt hit anything had 10 shots on meadium bass and missed them all!!. loads of pollock some big but typically when i was stringing my bass 2-5m viz milky on the turn of low .better on the bottom .loads of big wrass following me round with gangs of small pollock.waters warm .water was flat and nearly glassy when i got in slight north west breeze picking up as i came out.pouring with rain now.just going to check the gopro misses footage !set for weekend now.

Why are you missing so many fish? You possibly need to adjust the set up of the gun or have a bent shaft.
went in local south side on and after high water sea was pretty flat apart from boat induced waves.vyper said 20 0 c but it wasnt that hot !vis was 1-6 m tide was fast draging lots of crud but fish too.massive sholes of 1in &2 in bait fish.swam in hundreds if not thousands of small 5-6 in mackeral great site against the blue sky.missed a big pollock cos i got a bass on trying to put on my stringer about 1-2 lbs then got a mullet .tide was getting faster so went in to the shallow weed n got anther mullet. Saw more bass but had 90 this time so couldnt get the gun round quick enough.hit every thing i shot at unlike yesterday.tryed a deeper spot that held pollock but got another mullet instead while the pollock surrounded me watching !headed over to a rocky break and hit another mullet about 3 lbs fighting with that and theres a flaty so i stabbed him with spear but the flopper didnt open and it zoomed off ! Came out well happy best day spearing to date .

Great report on some good fishing! I haven't been spearing for a couple of weeks as been on my hols in SW France and didn't take the gear. I did manage a supper of hand caught crayfish at the lake one evening though. I am around if anyone wants to share a lift over to the llyn from Manchester this week.....
well you all must be busy fishing as im talking to my self again !just got back from a early south side dip winds light north easterly baking hot at moment sea was 20 0c had to pull my hood down!got in the shallows and went stright in to a bunch sea trout /salmon OMG how i didnt nail them i dont know !then turned away to be circled by mullet !Ahhhhh i wonted bass they were like indians surrounding me round and round me !fantastic experience .go pro should be great footage saw a few more mullet and small bass but left them .had swam a mile and the wind n chop had picked up so walked back 2 miles totally cooked and done in.but very happy .vis was 2 -8 m.blue skys great conditions.
Denian - sounded like a great mornin dip! So much so I have just packed the car and sharpened my tips ready for an unexpected one day road trip from the Midlands to s. llyn (unless anyone tells me vis is ok on the north llyn). Can't wait.
Hopefully will post some pics tomorrow.
