Got two dogs 1prawn 1 blenny 5 crabs in my pots shot 1 golden grey missed lots of big mullets and bass viz 0-5 m 14 0 c on vyper should of had lots .I'm crap with my 45 keep shooting over them at point blank range a great 3 hr this morning on high.nice warm blue sky at mo .least I've got my first fish at last!
Met up with foxy this after noon which was great .and dyllun popped up from nowhere.did two spots on south 1st saw no fish but a dog and some pipe fish 3-4 m vis 2nd spot hazy murky vis improving on depth to 4m saw sholes of
bass mullet and pollock got these baby's one through the cheek with my 75 weather turned summery and calm flat seas .what a great day .

Saw more big bass in spot two than have seen in a very long time. also managed to miss more fish than i have in a very long time! Got a bit over excited I think..... Including seeing the biggest bass Ive seen present itself broadside two feet in front of the gun..... Before anyone says the spear might be bent or anything.... Its not, I was just being a bit crap. that said, I spent a good five hours in the water, saw loads from pollock to a two foot pipefish, to edible crabs, monster bass, wrasse, blennys fighting etc etc... Funnily enough no mullet! More than enough fun for me!

Hello.....I'm from Torquay but I'm based up at abroath Scotland due to work......North Wales seems the best location for me to travel down to.....can anyone give me the most basic of places worth getting in....I know how this game works by now we all have spot x... Any help would be appreciated...or anyone fancies a dive pm me I'm free every weekend....any camp sites near the coast also would be a great help??? Thanks Matt H
I had a trip down yesterday evening South llyn , fished the last half of the flood up to about 9pm . Visibility was patchy 2-5m ,everything looked perfect, felt very fishy but nothing showed up apart from a few large groups of small Pollock. Still a nice evening to be out . North didn't look bad atal on way past trefor but didn't stop to look closer.
Was tempted in on the south side by Dylan this morning! In at half 8 and out at half twelve, so nice day! viz 5 plus, only a couple of bass and .... Pink bass.... seen, but literally hundreds of mullet. Took two big 5lb but then stopped as they were everywhere and being almost ..... Estuarine......... Didnt fancy them as much as open water fellas. Had a great spot, really well camouflaged and a shoal cruised past every couple of minutes. Hung out waiting for a bass, but didnt happen. Could have stayed but 3-4 hours was getting bit wrinkly! Other life seen between us includes spider crab, plenty of rockhoppers/blennys. Dustbin lid sized jelly (lions mane style) super huge wrasse, loads of very curious pollock, tons of bait fish (around 6-7 cm), pink bass...
