Definitely let us know Ian, having looked at the webcams this morning, I'm not sure I can justify the 6 hour round trip tomorrow... big change from yesterday.
It looks like the wind is getting up on Sunday so it looks like a flying visit on Saturday is the only option... Will be interested to see the viz on the webcams when the water is on the high.

Got in n4 less than 2m vis milky to snotty spider crabs n small pollock seen .gave up n went s4 for look wind had dropped but damage was done only 1 to 2 m gloomy viz again only saw a few spiders not a fish seen 16/17 0c on the vyper very warm in the polo sub wety cooking infact .pouring with rain and windy now but changeable Minute to minute.see what tomorrow brings
Wind guru say 10knt winds sat southerly. I will try some where on south side as I think norths still out of it ?Hope for calmer night. tho it's galeing now. may head down abersoch way. will look in morning through rain,thunder and lightening !joy if ya don't go ya don't know!

Great pictures Ian, good to see the new lifeboat station - let's hope none of us never need it's services! Amazing how much sand has disappeared from the beach there - that used to be one of my favourite places to go with my girlfriend - before I discovered "the spearing" that is 
Just looked at the cams, viz looks vile. I get the feeling that this is going to be the story all year, I recon there is a huge amount of fine, silty material sitting on the bottom after the storms - just a tiny little blow and boom - zero viz.
Maybe it's time to try fishing further out, away from the shallow, silty water - has anyone fished around the islands off Abersoch? I've read about a number of people on WSF who go out there lure fishing for big pollack...

ian is in at the moment, so im waiting to see how it goes. Reckon might be worth a paddle later or tomorrow. Still hoping to get the yacht up early august, so a weekend trip to offshore islands etc would be easily doable if anyone interested. Could anchor up and use dink to run in....
