Great setup Will! If that's a bombard how do you find it? I only read positive reviews about it!

Chomping at the bit, waiting to get out of hospital to drive 7 hours to meet Bros in N.Wales later! The end of the day cannot come quick enough!

Yeah its the aerotech 380. Cant really comment yet as I haven't been on the water in it so far. Hope your working not getting treated mate ! Enjoy boys and let us know about the viz, I may do sat and or Monday depending on conditions

Hi guys , total epic fail . Think I must have looked like a right plonker , got tangled up in my float line, drank half the bay, couldn't see my hand never mind the gun, made a huge mistake thinking i didn't need any weights yet until i gained some confidence , over heated like never before , and all in 3ft of soup like calm water . . . What a muppet !!!!!

Just glad really that the beach was empty and the car park was close .

Now consoling myself with a beer on a deserted Porth oer beach .

Guys not sure if I didn't go out far enough and that would have made for better vis ? ? Only out about 40 yards over the rocks right hand side of car park so maybe better deeper out .

Sorry that's all I can report really a newbie . . . .

On a more positive note this cold bear on an empty beach does sure feel nice .

Ha love it !.we have all been there !Just wish I was there for the beer to discuss the next dive.It looks massively improved viz wise on web cams.Go for a looksy to the left to next bay if you haven't had to many beers?How are you getting a signal there?

Kipping on the car park above Porth oer and signal is fine on EE . Intermittent down on the bay .
Need to decide where to go am tomorrow ? ?

As a beginner do i jus go practice with kit or search for vis ?

Really hope they don't do dogging in this car park as I'm clean out of windowlean !!!!!!

Its the sheep you won't to be worried about!. Weight belt on you should be in by now having a gentle mooch about !The out for brecky then of to the next spot!

I'll be in the Anglesey area Saturday and Sunday looking at property, I might try to get in on Sunday if time allows. Keep us posted on conditions and what's going on and I might try to hook up with you.

Hi Folks. Im off to the west coast of Anglesey in June for a week. I've not fished the area before, but google shows some nice looking rocky inlets that appear accessible. I've not been spearing long. This is my second season but only managed a couple of quick outings last season, by the time id got my gear. Has anyone got any advise regarding the west coast? Im not after locations just general stuff, places to avoid, currents etc. Im still learning so i'll be happy to get in the water & if i spear a flatty or bass it will be a bonus, but I wont be disappointed if I don't! PM me if you prefer. Many thanks.

Porth Oer was like pea soup am so didn't get in .

Porth Nobla Anglesey at lunch was better vis so got in , But could only just see spear tip with extended arm so prob about 2mtrs

Just had couple hrs out on south surprising bad vis 1 m on /after low water still not good 200-300yards out prob better on high no silver seen to talk of 1 edible crab found but put him back .filmed some scallopes on go pro only to look up to find I was surrounded by a nice shole of pollock all circling me !15 oc on vyper.flat glassy seas on north coast slight chop on south.just got your vid to play vis was slightly better than I had sure it must be better on high tomorrow.how s the bros twins getting on ?come on report in your sins?

15C positively tropical! I haven't dived yet this year still waiting for the right time (and surfing too much) but has anybody dived near shell island? I might be going down for a family camping trip and wondering if it's worth throwing the gear in the car - my guess is it's probably worth it....
