*Cough, cough* - Broseidon is still maintaining his 100% success rate for three successive seasons 
I'm only messing mate - before I had the boat, my sessions were quite short - just find a few good spots, stick to them, and never tell a soul!!!!
First of all some cracking fish from you guys over the weekend, top spearing 
Well I couldn't resist missing out on all the fun so made the trip over. Started north side....big mistake, vis about 1.5m, surely going to be a while until that vis improves! So back in the car to south.
Dropped in at one spot and instantly felt better. Vis 5-10m patchy over kelp. Took my first bass of the season; a curious loner. Then picked up a nice spider for the pot. On my way back, out of the blue a shoal of silver and bass 2 on the string. Happy Hoppe
Today I thought I would chance Aberdaron. Vis patchy, down to a few meters in places, better over sand 8m? Went to a favourite spot, sat about 5m down when out of the gloom saw a big fish shape swimming away took a chance shot and hit it. Unfortunately it wasn't a bass or mullet.... Say no more, but all 4lb of it shall be eaten tomorrow.
Then nothing else seen for the next few hours. After a few good fish early last year this mark hasn't really produced for me (plenty of mullet though).
Few observations from the weekend; didn't see many sandeel or bait fish, very few pollock, North side has some serious vis issues lol

Ahhh Hoppe, a gentlemans bass can be difficult to identify in the murk!
PM sentProbably in on Friday or one day this weekend - the low tide is at a bloody annoying time though.
Am I the only one who finds that the low or falling tide on the South coast is terrible for fishing? Maybe I just need some new spots
