Yiasou vasilis, I have never done a competition but training for freediving is a year-round activity and you must experiment a lot to find what works for you. I purchased the Manual of free-diving and it is a good start. Basic training includes a lot of running and swimming. I started in August. Here are some links to help you put together your own training program:

Thnks mate.that time we talk the competition finished and i realise that its a "mental" thing mostly.in my warm ups(static) before my official top i was totally relaxed and calm and did some good times..but when was my official time i get stressed by thinking i want a good time..with result in the end an elevated heartbeat and a bad time.
Now after the competition i am thinking to include some meditation and other mental exericses in my training.
