In response to more than a few request for the same, let's put up a recipe thread where we can submit, exchange, and generally take credit for recipes involving primarily, but not exclusively, all things la Mer. That means from the sea. Or the lake. Or the friggin meat counter, whatever.:head

Now the only question is- where do we want it? In the Hunting section or in the Beach Bar or off in who knows where? See the little buttons above, click it and put in your 2 pence. In a few days when there's a trend the Recipe section will be unveiled there for your gastro-enjoyment. :p And remember- If you don't vote, don't bitch.

oh, now He shows up!

...consider yourself asked Uberdirektor. And don't tell anyone I asked nicely. (I have a reputation, you understand. :mute )

And to those that have blondes that can cook, uh... can I have your numbers? ;)

Mein Lieber Sultan,
I've got a grey that can cook!:inlove :inlove :friday :chatup and so can I. We may not be gorgeous, but we're well fed and happy!!

Who dare argue?
Well she aint grey yet and blonde she isn't but she sure can cook, mostly middle eastern and asian food admitedly and who am I to complain :p beats the hell out of lobscouse or boiled cabbage :yack:

Beach Bar! Beach Bar!

Put it in the Beach Bar!

And as far as that goes, I'm the one doin' the cooking! :wave

The only problem with being in the middle of a land mass is that it comes de facto from the local Fischtheke. But my mom sent me an awesome recipe for Mahi-Mahi with a Macedamia Nut Sauce that is amazing!
:p

Hi sven,

I believe it should be in a sub section and not a thread! since threads disappear down the list if they are not looked at for a few days!!

Folks - it's going to be a sub-section that contains threads not a thread in it's own right.

At the moment it's going to go under the Hunting Category but am open to suggestions.

If it goes with boiled cabbage, are you sure you really want to know? Hmmmm?

Its a thin watered down stew made from an old bone, half a potato 12 carrots and 15 pints of twice used dish water.
That may not be quite accurate but you get the general idea of what it is. Very popular in Liverpool, hence the name. Ahh British cuisine :inlove
