Sara-Lise heads up News Editor position

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Congrats Sara!

Will you be looking for news from the freshwater world?

Gene

Sara's remit is to publish news on all types of diving. If you have any news of any sort then I suggest you send it to news@deeperblue.net so we can pick it up.

Everyone can help Sara by sending any news-worthy stuff in to us as it's sometimes a thankless task trawling the sites for news. Don't worry if you think it might be an odd news item - you never know what might end up being a juicy bit of news!

Re: Sara-Lise positions at the head

Join me in congratulating Sara on her new position. :friday

Though threesomes always left me a tad weirded-out,:hmm for Sara, I'd do it. :p Many thanks for the offer.

And any news I can come up with regarding positions, I'll pass on to you, doll! ;) Congrats.

Gadzooks! Given the potential for workload, I hope that DB can at minimum fund her coffee ration?

Hi Guys
any juicy wet news from the underwater world, whether salty or fresh, would be great. Also any spearing news, technical diving achievements etc, hyperbaric updates and anything to do with diving would be welcome. It should be more internationally readable, rather than local. (Local meaning a really small town that no-one knows of, when Lucy did her first scuba dive).

If something really whacky happens in your area that is really newsworthy lets have it :)

Yay Sara! Congrats, you've earned it. I'll let you know if I dig up any new & interesting stories (probably more the small-town stuff, but oh well!).

Congrats Sara I am sure that this unruly bunch can invent something to help you cover those slow news days. Am already dreaming up dumb crap.

What about an article on the progress of the freediver safety vest?????????? Seacidal is your man.

What is that?

Hi guys, articles are a different thing. I could ask one of our article writers to do a write up and for sure there will be updates coming from DEMA. My job is to get headline news that is divoing related. Right now I am stuck in a restaurant waiting for the boss..

Good point.

Why the resturant?

So apaza I guess you can tell me about this vest...

Hi Alex,

I know nothing more than the quite abundant info on that thread above. I would very much like to buy such a device though, and am rooting for the makers to pull it into production ASAP. Cheers

Ah that site won't load! I can't read the article...

I'm assuming it's a vest that can tell when you black out and triggers a release of air that shoots you back to the surface?
