Welcome to the forums, always good to have more Capies join in the fun, where abouts you located mate? Jeff care to share these spots of yours, Ive done mostly boat dives around here and a few shore dives in the Hangklip area, but I prefer the warm kelp free waters of the Witsand Blombos area where you can dive for 3 hours without a wetsuit and get nice size parrot belman and wildeperd and if your lucky stump and cracker.
Maybe all the capies here should get together for a few dives what do you guys say, maybe somewhere you could light a fire and have a few beers after the dive!

im behind the boerewors curtain so to speak :) ( northern suburbs) and yeah im going to be nagging Jeff to go diving way too often :) And a get together can only be fun :D sounds great.

And it is unwise to threaten me with warm water :D witsand is only a 2 hour drive away :p

Yep I know I spent most of my holiday there, my family has a house in puntjie. I only had one productive day though as the vis was crap most of the time and the wind blowing in the wrong direction. I did hear a bird whistle though that some oak caught a 6m zambezi in the river at witsand this december, dont know how much of it is true though but I wouldnt like bumping into one of those. Northern suburbs would be bellville area correct?
