i think they've already arrived we just cant see them yet! when i was in the water today it just felt fishy, if you know what i mean?
How long does it take the plancton to clear up? Do you think that next week the viz will be better?
Big predator always there, dont know you but I saw like shadows after algae ar maybe was an optical illusion.
Yeah you right! our mind start to draw fishes to make us happy.think i saw the same, after swimming through the sand eels a couple times! not sure if its my mind willin myself to see fish? but def had that fishy feelin![]()
Paddy,
Normally Windsurf off Pleneuf VA, never speared there. Are you off far left at the island in front of Golf course ?
Speared for 10 years around Erquy from shore & rib....unfortunately found it pretty much fishless at all depths. Good for the odd crab/conger/lobbie & scallops. We've family in Rennes & a place in Erquy. Beau Pere teaches apnea etc on a Wednesday night in St Georges (piscine).
Rob
Hi Rob, I was meaning to get in touch with you at the end of last season when you briefly mentioned this to me but alas I couldn't get off an island with lots of fish and clear water
I'll have to drop by the pool on a wednesday night when I'm off (working nights at the moment). Surprised you didn't see any fish around Erquy because in 6 odd outings last season on 2 occasions I saw 2Kg+ bass in shoals and some smaller ones too, funnily enough never see the mullet around there though. The bass are very tough to land in Erquy, so many people in the water causing a ruckus leaving them very jittery. Lots of lobbies/scallops and conger around alright.
