Got up at the crack this morning and took a drive down the coast for my annual Boxing Day Dive.


water looked calm and clear from the road but once in turned a milky 3 meters but very doable. I didnt see a single fish the whole time I was in but did find a patch of scallops which was a nice bonus.

Water temp was 9deg c and I successfully ripped a hole in my wetsuit so got out after 1.5 hrs

Happy days :)

Well, Scott, I'm impressed anyway.

Just been for a walk along the coast with the missus (in Dorset), and there is absolutely no chance of getting in with all that swell (I think the water temp might be a bit colder up our way too - 7 deg c last week).

nice going scott. just took the last of my scallops out of the freezer for tomorrow.
Its going to be scalloping on the west coast during the easterlys! its been 7 weeks now and im wondering if ill remember to fin!!:confused:

No idea mate. I walked the breakwater the other day and it didnt look too clever then same as Paignton which is still very silty. The Mrs and I were down Teignmouth the other day and thats a total righ off BROWN BROWN BROWN

Easterlys tomorrow so would think the bay will be blown out by tomorrow night :head:head Im starting to loose faith :(
