Cheers Paul. It was quite a gutting moment though, I would have loved to have got it on the polespear. We're going to try the spot again later this week, so hopefully they will still be around.

Well, I've just got in from another night dive, and what an excellent one it was too. There was a bit more swell coming in than last time, so it made finding the fishies a bit more challenging. The viz was down a bit, and the bass that were around last time had gone, only to be replaced by big, fat flounders. They were quite easy to find, as they were sheltering in the dips and hollows in the sand out of the surge. I even managed to pick one up, rather than spear it. Rowan got a nice bass, a few flounder and a crab.
The temperature was down too. We were getting cold even before we got in the water. I might be tempted in again before the snow comes on Friday though.

Does your season end boy?.......flatties waiting to be bashed. Spearo Dave is sending me an online form for another made to measure, 7mm needed for me. I still may try a dip before starting back on the 5th. Watch this space.
