Can anyone advise on whether or not it is illegal to spear sea trout (nowhere near a river) and if so is there a minimum size?
Don't be tempted by the dark side! They are beautiful fish but pinkies off triggers has always been the rule.
Had a decent session on Saturday amongst a shoreline of boulders and managed to bag my PB mullet at 5lb 9oz. Not the best shot in the world admittedly and it had made spaghetti out of my line by the time I'd pulled it in but pleased all the same. Got a decent bass I guess around 3lb to go with it.

it appears Ladram Bay isn't as fully booked as the internet first suggested, so we'll be pitching up on the 26th August.
