South Devon Report 2012

Hi again, just wanted to know what size the trophies were ,who pays postage and are the metal plaques engraved with recipients name and details of fish ,date etc I may be willing to make something similar but just want to know a few details before committing myself .

Hi Mirror, they can be any size really, ideally with enough space to either engrave the text [something like "Winner - Deeperblue OMD Fish of the Month - August" ] or to fit a plaque with the same. I think postage costs might be an issue though, so maybe smaller is better...
There is no budget! So its a bit of an ask really - and also highlights how generous the previous guys [OMD, DevonDave and ScottWilson] have been.
The FOM is popular with the forums and i am sure that all of us who get involved would be very grateful if you felt you could get involved :).
I'll pm you my mobile in case you want any more info.
Thanks.

Jonny dont you have an OMD original you can show to mirror?
Anyway the trophies need not be anything technical as its the thought that counts.
There will be 8 winners though & they will really appreciate any handmade trophies they might win.
I am sure we can organise a few DB goodies as a show of thanks....

And a very kind offer from Venturesorts too :king

OK Scott! Well if you stopped winning them the rest of us might have a chance. I'm breeding huge goldfish at the minute, ready to slay on a slow month - desperate times call for ....... etc etc.

Seriously, how goes it mate?

Yes that would be good,This weekend would suit me OK ,Get in touch with phone no/address /time etc .I have a few ideas .....

Twins are great fun. Get all the sleep you can now though!

Our twins are now 14 and both love the sea. They've progressed from depriving us of sleep to depriving us of money :)

Wow, great picture there, i secretly can't wait but am filled with intrepidation...

Start point is beautiful, the water behind looks amazing too. I heard the current round the point is pretty tricky, not dived there yet though.
