Good to know that I'm not the only one who can't stay in for more than two hours! Has anybody managed to find any good ways of keeping warm in these frigid waters?

6mm made to measure suit, 7mm socks, 5mm gloves, keep moving and keep peeing

It's fair to say I need new socks, 3mm really doesn't cut it in these temperatures!

Im coming down in morning gears packed if I can get it in the van! what is it like? has the vis improved? staying back in shalden again.Do I go down the tunnel or round the pier? Whats the temps like any one?

Was in at Maidencombe yesterday.
Vis about 2m, I'd guess the water was about 11-12 degrees. Not much life seen apart from tons of starfish. Spent about hour and a half in the water and came out still warm. But it was beautiful day, sun was out no winds or waves to speak of.

Ta Panhandle will have a looksy tomorrow eve if I have the energy after a v long day may still go in to "chillout" in more ways than one!

Had quick look down tunnel small swell sea looked good star light night to knackered to go in tho !

Just seen a local news report about a monofilament drift net (believed to be illegal ) washed up on the shore at Bantham with approx 200 bass in it !!

any luck scrumpy have you manage to get in at all look diar when i left with wind and floods ?

Happy Christmas everyone. Have a fantastic festive period and best wishes for clear vis and plenty of big fish in 2013!!
