spear fishing in pembrokeshire

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Got in today for my first session of the year, mate of mine came along who's not long started spearfishing. Didn't expect to see much as the water temp has only just made 10 c , the viz was about 3m at the best.

Within ten minutes of getting in I came across this beauty in a gully. Thought it might of gone double figures . Came in at 8.5 lb gutted so I recon it was an honest 9lb. My best Bass to date.:)

Think my mate is going to spend a lot of time spearfishing this summer :)

Other than two bass we didn't see to much today roll On June

Well done again mate, hopefully next time i can borrow two bags from you!! ;-)

I'm on the hunt for a Double figure fish now mate!! Or maybe just a fish, for the time being!!!!

Unfortunately Smyrnium olusatrum is prevalent all around South West Wales!!
 
Would that be interbedded argillaceous and subequal/subordinate sandstone.... Ben??!

I knew I should of tried harder in school , I could of trawled Internet forums guessing where to fish instead of getting out there and finding them
