There was a video link posted a while ago, it showed I believe Herbert Nitsch blowing 2 consecutive ring bubbles, and the second one would go inside the other one (some hydrodynamic force "sucked it in") and it would go out on top, and they would keep doing so until they collapsed. super cool.
by the way, when they measure size are they measuring when it leaves his mouth, or when it reaches the surface, because they do expand.
and do you want to know what the worlds biggest ring bubbles is?
the nuclear bomb! yup, when a nuke goes off (in this case at 2000 feet underwater) the pressure on the bubble is higher at the bottom (seeing as its like 150 feet high) and it goes up, after a few seconds this causes it to turn into a torodial bubble. and voila, you get a 300-500 foot diameter ring bubble

the only exception would be if you went scuba diving at say 300 feet, and let one loose. itll be a monster when it gets up

I thought you couldn’t do that, since there is a cookie that keeps track of the fact that you have already voted and doesn’t let you vote again.

It has been done before. On the thread below I'm sure that there are not 540 people with static PBs of 7:00+. The rest of the graph follows a normal curve.

As for the cheating, it's also very easy to create multiple accounts and use them to vote... Computer cheating is always a lot more easy than it looks. That a good thing, it gives me a job!

i vote for my self, one time - after this vote i was blocked, like all people who voted.
i send a mail to roland immerlustig, i think it was 2 weeks ago and get no answer from him. i have no idea how i can vote so many time for myself, but normally, when roland say something is wrong, he need do know something and he can prove this - or not???
the big problem is that in this community many people (here in austria) are really envious ...
i know that i am not the best freediver, but many people see my sponsors (omegawatches, ...)and my mediacoverage, which is mayby more than herbert nitsch´s!!!
by the way: if 2 freedivers from europe are interested to play icehockey under ice against austria, please send a mail!!!! (you need to be from one counrtry)

You can vote multiple times by clearing out the cookies in Internet explorer. I think the only way to know this though would be by tracing the IP unless the site logs by user name. There are some possibilities for error in such an approach.

The site will log all registered users who submit a vote on a poll. However it will not track IP's of unregistered guests, only that a guest has voted.
In this case all bar one of the votes for ChristianRedl were by unregistered guests (and hence we have no IP so can't track who made those votes). It is clear someone cheated on this poll by voting multiple times (by deleting their cookies) for ChristianRedl however we cannot show who that person was.
Needless to say I am saddened that someone would feel the need to cheat on a simple, fun poll such as this. It certainly does undermine the community aspect of this site.
