It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Argh, looked too fast So let me transform the congratulation to crossed thumbs!

Well announcing is half the job done - takes a lot of thinking and self evaluation

I am off for the second deepest FIM in my life.

Will start reporting at 14.00 Egypt time.

Mostly on FDD facebook page.

Congratulations to everybody who's in. But of course Biggest for Mateusz.
Sebastian-you get both congratulations on achieving declared depth and thanks for reporting online on facebook. Almost like being there

Congrats for Matt! First Pole to reach 100m..in both disciplines..big big man! He will surely get Herbert in the nearest future!

OMG what happend there? So many blackouts ?? Bad conditions?

6 BO's and 7 DQSP's for 30 perfs: it's the Egypt factor - for me it brings me down to about 90% capacity, so then I announce 91% and BO.

I don't know about others but I do know that "Matteus" reached 100m for two days in a row. Without rest day doing CNF after that is not easy task and he got 2 second BO. Still managed to end up in 3rd place

some were shooting high to get national records, and the fact that they had big dives for the previous 2 days didn't help.

lots of people tend to go for records rather than points, because it's way cooler to say that you got a NR than you won a comp, so they go for it and if they make it they make, and if not they BO.

we were aware that a lot of them announced deeper than PB areas, and we had deep funky safety for all the big dives.
i was sure matt wasn't gonna make it and i hoped he announced shallower, even thouh he did 80 in training. but of course it's his call. he was very very tired on the way up from his second 100 the day before, so it was very likely that he would be even more tired on day 3.

then of course the beginners blacked out because they have no clue what they are doing

HEY!
I didn't black out! You might think that this is because I mostly didn't dive(*), but I think it proves that I knew what I was doing

I just coached Sung Chul all the way to HIS first blackout instead. I think he enjoyed the experience....:head

* OK OK that was due to hurting my ear because I had no clue what I was doing. Hmm
