UAE Spearfishing/Freediving Trip 2008

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

You... %^$# of course i didn't find your mask as it's not with me. Take another look. I will look at walts place as he has a small dive bag. Will check today and call and let you know. I am not polishing anything as of yet. But if you feel the need to go ahead and polish your teeth and other parts ie. YOU KNOW WHAT...then please feel free and don't let my lack of polishing get in the way of your enjoyment!

As with all my stuff that I lend you it goes missing...*sigh*....are you getting a gold plated spear-gun as well and fins?? I heard that Prada make masks encrusted with diamonds so you can buy one of those for yourself....metro-man :):girlie

I'm also considering buying a RIB or Zodiac style inflatable for pretty much the same purposes as you - inshore fishing/spearing. I've never speared b4, but dived for several years and fished since I was a kid. I live in Al Barsha. I'm just about to start shorefishing now it's cooling down, so if you wanna meet up some time, give us a shout.

Gerhard, due to absolute life turmoil ;) i was unable to get this organised. HOWEVER, if you immediately have 10/12 interested people, i have a luxury boat set up with a dhow that follows you for fishing, with chef, crew, the works... 10K AED per day, so between 10 of you its a luxury fishing trip, the boat will take you out to Bin Sir Nair island which has intact coral reefs etc etc etc.

Interested? Let me know....

Off topic I know, but I happened to see this thread and wondered if any of you can recommend any particular spot for a snorkelling/ scuba hol for a family ( self and wife + 2 boys, 16 and 14) in the Red Sea? Been looking at Shram el Sheikh Thomas Cook packages.
