Ok then gents, I’ve had a few more PM’s with a few questions about the weekend, so I’ll try to answer as best as I can.
First off I’ve got to say that this is Bryn’s (Almostafish) baby and I’m only doing a little organising while he’s out playing with the oil rigs in the North Sea.
So as for cost I think he said it would be £25 per person to cover his and the other instructors fee, with the other instructor being worth every penny on her own even without Bryn’s words of infinite wisdom.
Second, I don’t think there will be a formal certificate at the end of the weekend, although I would think that you’ll get some very good training that WILL help you be a safer and deeper diver.
As for what the itinerary for the weekend will be I’m sorry but I have no idea, that’s going to have to be up to Bryn.
Lastly as far as I’m aware there should be plenty of space if any late comers want to join in.
The most important thing for me at present is to have a definite number of people that wish to camp as I now need to book the tent pitches for the Saturday night.

Feck! Well its looking like its going to be a great weekend.

The aim of the weekend is to get everybody on the same page for the summer and to get across some potentially life saving information to you gents for minimal cost. There will be no medals or certificates at the end but the knowledge imparted should keep you safe and alive for a long time to come. We will NOT be spearing things as Vobster like the trout as they are but we can talk at the site about the guns/hunting side of things and see what everybody has to input.

Its all about Rescue/first aid/safety/freediving/beer.. Perhaps not quite in that order.

Tribs, you’ll need-
Wetsuit
Weight belt, remember that you’ll need a lot less weight than in the sea.
Mask
Snorkel
Fins
Dive watch if you have one to record all the record depths that you do.
A drink should you wish one for mid day, I.e. water.
Maybe a banana might be a good idea.
A bit of cash to pay Bryn and the Vobster Fee and to buy me a Hot Dog and a cup of coffee after.

Hi podge what time is kick off on saturday is the £25 each day or both, dan and i are looking to come both day, pleased not to early on saturday as we both work late to early morning specialy on that friday night
