Thankyou to Bryn, Emma and Podge for a brilliant weekend. I had a great time. The location was perfect, the coaching was top class, and all the people using the Lily pad on the second day achived new PBs. Camping was fun, especially with Rascolour and his mates. :friday

Cheers everybody. Emma and I had a great weekend and were very happy with the attitude and massive improvement of all persons involved. Some great results from a few small tweaks!

To be honest it would not have happened without Podge's help and backstage input so many thanks to him as ever. Three cheers for Sir Shoot's alot! :friday

We was very pleased with the turn out and the quality of the diving. All fee's were covered but the guys who specifically asked for this course/weekend and then did just not turn up or email so say they could not make it... I'm not sure what to think about that.

Don't let your own mind and pre conceived idea's hold you back perhaps?

Anyway that aside we had may new PB's with some people doing things that they just had no idea that they could. Foxfish being the most surprised about it I think! I will let him tell the story..

That Jamaican stout mixed with single malt was refreshing!

Good to swap gear, look at photos, talk, get pissed, sing, fart and snore..

Will they let us back next year? :)

Thanks all for a fun weekend, very interesting from a "pure" freediver's point of view to see how all you spearos approach things. I didn't intend to try a new PB this weekend but I couldn't let you lot have ALL the PB fun :)

Do I get top marks for bringing a vegan to a spearo event?

I attended the Vobster training weekend on Saturday and Sunday. A massive thank you to Emma and Bryn for your instruction over this weekend. Huge respect to you both for the effective way you presented, demonstrated and coached us all with your knowledge and experience. Many thanks also to Podge for assisting with the organisation and the amusing input!

It was great fun meeting those who attended, learning together, exchanging experiences and ideas on equipment set up. The training venue and campsite were excellent. The camping and social evening was a really good time, thanks to rascolor for the stout and Bryn for the malt.

I found the whole weekend an inspiring experience. I am now keen on consolidating and improving my skills with an AIDA ** course. Lots of us achieved new PB's. I managed an improvement of depth from 10m before the training to 26m. Well chuffed!

It was good to meet all the other guys at the weekend and gain some valuable knowledge on Sunday.

Thanks

MB (greenhorn)
