The wind is a Northely at 1-2mph, just had a look on Metcheck - Paul I know you had 2 X 6bl Bass from Lulworth....

They could have got wist to you now!

hmmm...I don't think Chesil is the fishiest spot. North easterly would probable be reasonable for it, but we'd be more sheltered in the lee of that big cliff at Lulworth...what does everyone else think, we need to make a decision!

Hi Paul,

It's no problem just fancied trying a new area - but if there are no fish there then fair enough. Let's hope a few more of us see some nice size bass this time too then!

even though the briney was like a banana milk shake it was a good few lessons learnt. any ideas for tues meet yet? iv been interested in trying out of bincleaves in wey near the north arm of the breakwater? not far from the pub either!!:friday

Glad you enjoyed last week. Bincleaves sounds like a good posibility for tomorrow - whats the viz like over there? Any one else any ideas/thoughts on the venue for the club dive?

hi guys winds is currently 10mph SW on portland and decreasing. i will be coming of the island early tomo morning so ill have a look over newtons cove/bincleaves tom morning before work. was thinkin of that spot as its sheltd from s'westrlys and has reef and the breakwater so is varied gound, car park is vry clos and pub!
postcode for sat nav is dt4 8ur if its a help?

He'll be lying in ambush, waiting for us, if he reads this forum!

Took a couple of bass this evening, 2-3lb. Took a couple of mullet 3-4lb, a slightly smaller bass, and a lobster on sunday, and a couple of bass on friday. Also shot a couple of bass circa 4lb this evening, but in both cases the barb of the seatec spear came back through the fish and they got away, even though the spear was initially well through the fish - not happy about that.

Nearly got run over by a speed boat on sunday (although I'm not accusing the Harbour Master of that).
