freediving FAQ's for newbies

I'd like to see a basic freediving FAQ page on DB that covers the main questions most beginners have. Between all of us we could make up such a list of questions and then answer them. I think it'ld help a lot of new people get a foot in the door knowledge wise, and give them a basis to be more familiar with the deeper (pun intended) knowledge in the forums.
