AIDA DEPTH WC 2009 in the Bahamas.

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
sorry guys, long story, we had coordinated a mid-session update but it did not come in. I am guessing too much tension and that my "contact" was actually helping out Will get into the right frame of mind for his dive, rather than updating us geeks. Fair do's.

I will either know in 10 mins, or Will will post himself, either way, we'll know soon.

You are lucky to still HAVE elbows. I am down to my shoulderblades here :head

edit : AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRLLLLLL (sounds of me loosing it here and almost pushing the refresh button through the motherboard)

Laptop user? :)

What desperation does to us aye, I've just pulled over on my way to work, to see if there's an update on my iPhone.....how would we get on with out technology!!!!

1 hour and 15 minutes after Herbert's dive and still no final results... We're back in the stone age and using pigeon post again.

I just paid my son 1 euro for hitting f5 on my keyboard every 10 seconds for the coming hour.

Wohooo! First Swede and Scandinavian to reach the magic 100m. Grattis, Johan! :friday

EDIT: Aber was faster. :)

Well, no tag for Johan and then no 100m record, but still 100m on your Suunto. Great results and only 1 BO. Sorry for Ryuzo, who won't make it to the final, but that means Johan will get a new chance on an official 100m + scandinavian record. Do you get records at all if you don't bring the tag?

Good to see Carlos back with the really deep in CW.

I am really happy for Carlos . Well deserved comeback.
And of course for all the other great dives.
No real big surprises for the final, but it will be a sizzling one !!!!

Very interesting final where are going to see!

I think William Winram is saving his energy for his CNF final. My guess he's going to try for 86m, maybe even some more?

What's up with the tags?
It seems that many people choose or either did not manage to grab a tag?

Herbert seems for ready for 123m.
Carlos looks stronger than ever, it would be very amazing if he manages to win!
William T Appears to be in shape too, but will he be able to push it to 123m?
Alexey appears to stealthily increase his depth, but is young, but what is exactly his pb?
Guilliaume had the WR CWT a few times already, but after the unexpected BO in training has he recovered his strength and trust, ready to go for a WR a foreign waters?
I think Johan would like to reaffirm his 100.

I hope we can see a little Youtube video with some of the action until today, it doesn't have the perfectly cut, etc, just some impressions, faces etc.

Thanks for the great dives and organisation!

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars

In the CW final I don't think we are going to see dives close to the World Record, except perhaps from Herbert Nitsch. He is a bit unpredictable. This comp is all about medals and getting white cards. Besides, it's only Nitsch among the men who has been able to pull off a World Record in a big comp for quite some time now. Nery, Stepanek and Coste has done their records in separate or tailor made events. There is nothing indicating that anyone but Nitsch is capable of doing a CW WR in Bahamas, and he has seemingly scheduled his record attempts after the comp. But with him, you never know. It's exciting days ahead, so please keep the live reports up. We are very grateful for them. :inlove
