AIDA World championship indoor 2011- Lignano

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
When I asked for accommodation for my mum for a few days it didn't seem to be a problem - just note the number of days and the arrival and departure days (under extra) rather than the 10 day option.

What happens if they don't get 120 competitors?

All preparations are going well. There are 23 countries registered and over 100 athletes participating. There are still a few more Nationals that need to be finalized.. We will publish the IN-List the first week of September.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Can someone explane what exactly means 50% of athletes per day of qualification? How will they define who is in which half? And how will someone know at what day is his dive? Assuming they will arive just at that day and then go home and return to finals... you need that information asap.
 
the deadline for registration has been extended to 31 August. Get those forms in fast!
 
Does anyone know what the plans are for the start in DYN and DNF? I doubt even Mr. Mullins could have managed to stand on the bottom while breathing up in that pool From what I can see on Alexey`s 250m video there are no ledge to stand on either. That`s probably why they used a platform that they pulled away after the start. That seems like a good solution but might be hard to do with 8 athletes at once. I just hope the organizer don`t choose the easy solution which is to not have any arrangement.
 
I hope they will have some sort of a platform to stand at the start of the dynamics. The pool is 50m long so they should have enough time to remove them before the 100m turns.

any news regarding the in-list yet?
 
Well, I see some misspellings, but basically nothing too bad. What exactly are you pointing to, Goran?
