We're all maoists now eh? I look forward to the day you present us with an original idea.
Not "all of you" thankfully. Many however do shill for Marxism in it's various versions without understanding really what it is they are shilling for.
As for original ideas, Obama's quotes out of "The Communist Manifesto" and his ties to Black Liberation Theology, didn't seemed to stop you from voting for him.
The problem, as I see it - and I am absolutely right - is the whole bit has got too politicized. Take George Bush, for example. Now that he's out of the running he's actually begun to govern. Another good example is our man Roy, I'll bet you 18cents he has not had actual contact with any of Obamas ideas, but rather is feeding off versions spooned out to him.
Wrong again. I have been "exposed" to Obama's "ideas" and ideas of his mentors (Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright) extensively. That is precisely why I can smell the stench of militant Socialism a mile away and why I dislike leftist demagoguery.
Another good example in this country are gun owners. Theres been a run on firearms thanks to the NRA's attempt to portray Obama as a guy who's going to take everybody's guns away. Shear hysteria - unsupported by the record if you take the time to look.
This statement above is ether an outright fabrication on your part or you are simply ignorant of the facts. Obama is connected and OWES favors to every rabid "gun control" assclown in this country.
Mccain started to show what appeared to be some pretty serious lapses in judgement. I've always thought well of him, and still do, but this is not his time.
Yet another "impartial" red herring.
As a country we seem to have lost the ability to work together and actually wish whoever is in office well. The mere fact that they are identified with what we imagine to be 'the other side' means we condemn them right out of the gate. It's tar pit thinking my friends
That is rich, coming from the side that invented "class warfare" (spread the wealth around) and overt racism (affirmative action).
In this state we had a proposal on the ballot to allow stem cell research in the state. Many people decried it as immoral, said it would cost taxpayer dollars blah blah. What it was about was creating a biotech corridor in this state which, along with wind energy, can enable us to move out of the automotive industry which, frankly, the chinese will soon kick our asses in, and into advanced biotech and alternative energy - where we can exploit the american capacity for innovation and get into an industry -- alt energy - that the Chinese and every other budding industrial nation desperately need because of blistering pollution problems. This kind of thinking is not political, or idealistic, or socialistic or any other convenient pe-packaged template for the identity deprived - it's smart - and smart is what we need to be now - unless you want to go down Roy's road to fossildom.
Stem cell research ... you seem to be shy to differentiate between adult stem cell and embryonic stem cell research. Totally bypassing an ethical debate centered on research involving the creation, usage and destruction of human embryonic stem cells. A practice that is is a slippery slope to reproductive cloning and fundamentally devalues the worth of a human being.
As for "fossildom". Yet again it was the Leftwing "identity-rich", Knee-jerk hate America" crowd who stopped the development of the nuclear plants in USA.
But hey .. since you haven't really addressed the fact that a singe party which spouts Marxist slogans is controlling: Public Education, Mass Media, and now Presidency, House and Congress in the USA ... and the fact that within past 60 years NAZIS and Communists had similar setups. I will not demand too much from you. You seem to be incapable of staying on the subject. Don't feel bad thou, most of my Leftwing acquaintances can't . It would require reason and logic, which are in short supply on that side of the political spectrum.
