Hey now!! This is a big attractive thread... we don't want certain information making its way to the Canadian DFO. They are liable to grab me in the middle of the night and insert a chip under my skin so they can tell whenever I am underwater. Then while we are all out in Telegraph Cove, as I jump in the water, 5 helicopters, 30 scuba divers, and 3 coast guard vessels will pop out of nowhere rounding us all up, fining me and my ACCOMPLICES!!!! The inevitable publicity thereafter won't bode well for DeeperBlue as a sponsor of the event.

I have one recipe for the Dragon. It is marinated in tequila and habanero pepper sauce for 24 hrs. Then is grilled. Must be eaten hot!!!!!!!!!!

a little bit off topic, but reading the info regarding the first FIPSAS spearfishing championship to be hold in Brasil on April 7 and 8, among the participating teams appears Canada.

So, who's going?? Even if you all are swimming from God's Pocket dont't expect to arrive to Brasil on time! BTW, no pelagics fishing on the way down there!:t

Telegraph Cove Campground:

Located one-half kilometre from the Resort Office, a ten-minute stroll up the hill. Nestled in a stand of old-growth trees our campground has over 120 serviced sites available to the discerning camper and RV enthusiast. As an added attraction, the campers like to invite visitors staying at the resort to a "potluck" dinner every Sunday evening during July and August. The campground contains a Laundromat, washrooms, showers, firewood for the nightly wiener roast, and a sani-dump. There are treed, partially treed, and field sites available. There are two small creeks running along either side of the campground and a short trail through the woods leads to Bauza Cove. Rates are based on one tent, camper, or trailer per site with a maximum of two adults. Children under ten are free and there is a 10% discount for stays over thirty nights.

Full Service (water, electricity and sani): 26.00 per night
Partial Service (water and electricity): 25.00 per night
Basic Service (water): 21.00 per night

Extra unit per night: 10.00
Extra person charge per night: 1.50

That looks fine. However, Eric Moe's cabins will be multi-person as well I believe, and the cost might work out not too far off camping costs for those who are interested. He said that he will accomodate 20 people, with hot tubs/sauna and his INCREDIBLE cooking :t and access to dive boats.

Jon woke me up to this thread. I don't read the forum at thoroughly as I should.

This sounds like a trip of a lifetime. The Mrs. is getting itchy for kids; so she has given me free reign to sew the oats. I will be returning on June 2 from a one-week trip to the lil' Cayman with Connor. If I can make it to your gig for under 1K, I'll be in (if you'll have me). I intend to make the bosses sorry for the 5 weeks of vacation they agreed upon.

I'll start researching airfare. Within a week or two, I will be able to give you a definite yes or no. If yes, I'll be willing to put my money down for my space. Man-o-man, I hope to make this......
