Anyone else get any? I heard the guys were going mad at Hangklip. Might try that spot over the weekend.

Hey John

What the heck! Where did you go diving? and how many licences did you have??!!!
I went on Sunday to soetwater, got in the water really late, got beaten around by the huge swell and got fed up and got out. Result 1 size and one that was just size depending on how you handled the measure, I was'nt taking any chances tho cos the mcm where there in mass ready to pounce on the slightest mistake.

Monday was much better, got my quota, plus one big boy. But I still struggled. I think I need to find a new spot.

I'm going to Sandbaai (in between Betty's Bay and Hermanus) for the weekend with some young adults from our church. The good news is that half of them are divers, and the other good news is that they all love crayfish. So I'm stoked to explore new territory. If anyone is commited enough to drive all the way out to hangklip, then the invitation is there if you want to come join us for a kreef dive and a braai at Sandbaai.

Hey Lenny

Got those at Pringle and had 3 licenses :) The MCM were there too. We tried Koelbay first, but the vis was terrible and the water was choppy.

I might be out in Saudi Arabia (the wife named that side of the bay Saudi Arabia because the view from Dahab looks the same) too over the weekend. I'll give you a call when I know for sure.

Ok dive report for the weekend:

SOETWATER!!!!

It is flat flat flat and extremely clean. You can even dive off Misty Cliffs today if you wanted to.

Sandbaai. Scale: The small one would be considered "big" if caught in soetwater.

and you, hanli, go find yourself a long armed husband instead than hassling mine!

ha ha!
i am duly warned linda!!
can't wait to have you back in cape town, maybe we must just stretch our own arms...?

hanli, i don't need stretching my arms, since i have a long armed husband already.
