Sounds good to me mate :) My kids love goujons so it should go down a treat, I served a few flounder up that way and they tasted great.

Went in today to have a look for lobsters, the vis was varied but I pushed on into some clear water, dived down to around 7-8 metres and had a peep under a ledge and spotted an area of disturbed sand and manage to take my first Dover Sole weighing in at 3.5lb :)
Carried on for a couple more hours and bagged a nice bass and 35 more scallops but no lobsters.
This spearfishing is getting too addictive what am I going to do when the rough weather kicks in.

OMD Fish of the Month entry for that sole?

Hugh Ferneley Whittingstall says leave your sole for a day or so, then skin and grill (although Foxfish and myself believe that for all fish the motto should be 'the fresher the better' - I'll leave it with you).

I sat there 5 minutes after filleting it this morning and thought s***t why didnt I add it to fish of the month :head

Hey guys, havn't been on here for what seems like ages. Good to see some good catches. Sadly my old man was diagnosed with cancer on the lungs and spine at the begining of Septemeber. Three weeks later it finally got the better of him. He was a stubborn old ******* though and fought like a dog. Pretty savage really, so quick it was hard to absorb. Finally started getting back in the sea now though and this sunday we headed down the south coast with a mates SIB. Second drop saw a good 5-6lbr kebabed and i went on to take another 4 fish. I think the gods were being kind. Vis was so so, 3m or so but that sort of murkiness that makes you expect to see bass. Bloody nice afternoon on the whole, saw large numbers of bass. My mate however only saw one which luckily came home.
