Worst session yet!
Got in at midnight.
Far east vis no bloom, but 1-2 m vis tops, took my brother; biggest mistake!!! Lol, mask probs..cold...bored etc..he lasted 5 mins and we had to get out.
Ended up getting in at newtons cove at 2am 2-3 meters vis..but again my little brother started playing up so we were out of the water after 15mins.
So I only ended up with a flattie and two bass of around 3lb
oh....my brother is 14 years younger than me at 24!!! Lol you'd think he was 15!! Ha sorry Tye.
And ro top it off I waited arouns in my wetty till 4:30am for a dawn raid only to realise that I had forgotten my day gun...only had a 45cm pump gun so drove home in a bad mood.

Lol gutted for you Lee, although about time you had some of everyone else's luck!
I had a little dip with Clive last night after my day time plans were interrupted by family duties, found a nice mix of vis of 2-4+m with the odd bloomy patch. Got in at last light and swam around looking for anything worth taking sadly nothing seemed to be around so taking a leaf out of Lees book we had a long swim, still nothing seen other than the smallest Bream I have ever seen, needless to say he is still there. By now it was getting cold and we were a bit disheartened so we started to swim in. I spotted a squid but it wasn't hanging around took a snap shot but missed... Clive managed to grab a nice plaice though so end of the dive and things were looking up. Bit more swimming and nothing to see before I caught a glimpse of something in the string weed I quickly ducked down and saw it was only a Pollock but hang on next to him was a lobster in a crack! Grabbed him out without thinking only to find myself a bit full handed... Gun torch lobster and bag back home headed over to Clive to borrow his bag and found him slowly filling his stringer with plaice, he was on a hot spot! Dropped off the lobby and picked up a Plaice and a Flounder in the process, still circling the hotspot I caught a glimpse of something silver... Finally a Bass! Followed him for a while and bang he was added to my stringer too nothing huge but a tasty meal all the same. Finally shivering I decided enough was enough and headed in, just as I hit the shallows something hit me then again and again. I thought smelt at first but a quick flash of the torch showed a squid who was I think trying to hump my torch... So in self defence and as I love salt and chilli squid he was added to my stringer. Got out pretty cold and watched Clive grab another plaice on his way in too, great night with a lovely mixed bag for me and a nice haul of Flatties for Clive... Bloom? pah! Bit of effort and a great night was had by us both!

Apologies for awful grammar and spelling... Not enough sleep and trying to write a report on a phone, while I get increasingly annoyed by loud children, seemingly makes me write garbage!
Gutted Lee such a long way to go for a wasted trip. Good to see some success else where tho. Dont think I will be getting in till next weekend so will be keeping an eye on vis and catch reports (still looking for that ellusive Gilt Head after missing one a few weeks back!). Looks like the sand is producing some goodies, plenty of Plaice showing up

Just a quick viz report for those who are looking for a dive opportunity:
Went to West Bay area first to find brown water. Same all the way past Abbotsbury, then it was clearer at Chesil Cove area, but still fairly murky. Chucked some feathers out but to no avail.
Harbour looked nice and clear, but found 1-3m murky viz East of Weymouth area so got in there. Quite a few schoolie bass about, so picked out a couple of the bigger ones. Several squid around (including one that quite literally bumped into a good-sized bass that I was lining up a shot on and scared it off!), missed a couple of nice mullet.
Came out with 2 bass, a nice flounder, and my friend Will got his first plaice.
Also met Matt (Scoobaru)'s dad as I was kitting up. Had a nice chat with him, and he informed me about the 50p incident. Matt, you plonker!

Yea he said he bumped into you, but he didn't mention he told you about that haha. I was hoping that would allow me to shed a few weights off my weight belt, but alas the only diving that was done, was by a surgeon with a camera and net bags to remove 2 50p's from my stomach..... And the career change to finance and banking was not successful
Roll on next weekend hope its not brown still. Did manage 14 Mackerel on the feathers though, and saw my first mullet of the year so not all bad 
Went to Bowleaze yesterday evening & started out a bit bloomy & not too bad, but towards the end of the day & dusk it got pea soup towards the headland.
No silvers, plenty of dogfish, small pollack & a few Wrasse, & small spiders crabs.

Sneaky dive in cove tonight ! Viz along the rocks crap 2-3 max viz brown snot everywhere seen a few mullet, garfish and pollack, all small. There is a film about 6 inches deep of brown snot hopefully will burn off by weekend.
