Is anyone looking for a new suit ? I have a brand new black camo 5mm Cressi Tracina. I bought it as it was the same size as my old one but it doesn't fit. Tried to get the bottoms on and gave up. Washed it down and is now in my specially designed spearo cupboard. ? Anyone interested ??

A mate has just got into spearfishing and has been using a surf suit and is looking to upgrade. What size? How much and where are you based? He's 5'11" and weighs 13st and some change.

No worries mate how much is he looking to spend ? If he doesn't want it then it's no problem. Open to offers. Rather it goes to a good home and get used than sit around not doing a lot.

Hi all fist time posting, been watching the site for a while for tips etc. Had an unexpected day off so went in at Church ope. Vis was 0.5m and a bit choppy. After an hour got out felling a little sick. Any tips or cures for this? or is it just go out when its dead flat?

I used to get like that when I first started spearing. Feeling sick. Could be that you may have got some salt water in your snorkel a few times and swallowed a bit without noticing or like you said could be the fact it was a bit choppy. I went for a walk out the bill and it was rough out there. Hope this helps.

No cures. Make sure you're well hydrated and don't eat before getting in. After a while, you'll get better at avoiding swallowing saltwater. I also tend to feel a little sick if I haven't dived for a little while, so I guess it's also just a case of getting used to it. Good luck.

Hi, I was fishing with a rod a line at Durlstone Bay last night and saw a large black object about 30 metres from the shore diving and floating on the surface. Watching it for a while it looked like a sea lion (it looked about 8ft long) but having googled sightings in the UK just now maybe it was more likely to be a large seal. It was a great spot and made my evening although if I had of been in the water I may have felt differently, so thought it was worth mentioning.

Another viz report. Weymouth and Portland. Rubbish and brown everywhere. I walked milked today and have checked nearly every location. No viz and I wouldn't even entertain getting in. Looks like the rod has got to come out :).
