I hope it helps because empty lung statics are far more enjoyable than inhale statics. No struggling with the air, no contractions, and you can drop your hemoglobin saturation as low as you want, with very little effort; and, because they are so short, you can do dozens of them in an hour if you want.
empty lung statics are somewhat equivalent to an 'O2 table' in the sense of tolerance to low oxygen; they do nothing for your CO2 tolerance
.. do you mean praticing with static holds or with some movement, bicycle, stepper, etc?when you practice for a maximum of 1 hour, with 7-8 hypoxia cycles
