not sure what you're working on maggers, but i'd like to vote that photo as one of the most interesting I've seen on DB to date. roflroflroflrofl

(sorry, slow work day here..)

I see you're taking up surfing then Magpie

Looks like a good board, plenty of deck area for those scallops. nice one.

LOL.......... NICE!

Would have loved to have seen the look on her face when you told her the missing tablecloth was now a flag :chatup!!!!!!

roflrofl

rofl It was an old teashirt and some paint actually!

For anyone who didn't notice above the pic is a link to the "making of" thread.

I think a home made float should be large, highly visible and capable of carrying any amount of scallops.

Here's one I made earlier :t.

Not moored as usual, though strangely there seems to be someone onboard :t

Magpie have you got both flags on 'cos it's also big enough to be classed as a boat with a diver down!rofl Where d'ya get the orange and white one?

Nice job though - and multi purpose with the current weather!

The White Horse open for snacks Great and its open all day, even better!

Oh Magpie the board/float looks pretty good to.

i noticed that one too Podge, one track mind :friday

Andy, when's the forum gonna be up and running again?

Waiting for a new password from the web host... They sent it by snail mail on Thursday or Friday so it should really be here. If it's not today there will be a delay as i'm off to London for client meetings later today and not back til Wednesday night. Bloney hackers is all I can say, you would think the hosts would have better security eh!!

Unfortunately the White Horse is no more, it was our local when I was at Uni in Winchester but closed down so we, err, acquired some souvenirs!

The red flag was cut off an inflatable float Sarnian. If anyone knows where I can get a small plastic A-flag let me know because I'm not sure how long my bit of painted teashirt will last!

I got loads of those little Guernsey flags, like the one on my board.

Thanks Mart, but I want an a-flag, otherwise a board with a Guernsey flag on it my attract curious boats over, not detter them!

Weihrauch HW100 and Air Arms ProSport mate.
